Review: I have no idea why I waited so long to read this. It’s so good! If you haven’t read it already, please do! Okay, so you read it from the point of Tris, which means you get to know a lot about her, you get to know what’s happening, everyone’s speech and her inner thoughts, you read about things that you wouldn’t have known if it wasn’t in her perspective. The writing style I just enjoyed so much, I feel like everything was written in a good amount of detail and that characters were introduced really well. The thought of factions seems really awesome but scary. The plot itself was quite original and did remind me of the hunger games a bit, possibly just because of the amazing female characters and the whole knowing about their history before everything starts, if that makes any sense. It’s full of action and ends on a fantastic cliff hanger, I will be starting Insurgent once I have finished writing this. I think if the rest of the trilogy is as good as this book, it’ll become a favourite trilogy. I am very glad I decided to pick this up and I am so excited to start the next book and then end up completing the series. There is one thing I’ll admit to, it’s quite hard to write a review of this without giving spoilers. I know most people have read it but I don’t want to ruin it for those who haven’t.

Rating: 5/5 Stars
