About

So, you're probably here to either learn more about me or the blog. Well, here's a bit of both...

I'm Laura, a 15 year old girl from the United Kingdom who loves books, animals, gaming, music and photography. My birthday is September 11th. I like to come to this blog to not only post opinions but escape from reality for a little while. Music is one of my great passions, I've loved it ever since I was young and for many years have wanted to become a musician, or maybe an author. The future for me is a scary thing, to think that one day I may be married with children scares me slightly, the thought itself is lovely, but the fact that time seems to be going by so quickly makes me think that it'll all happen before we know it. All I know at the moment is that my two biggest ambitions are to either become a musician or author and that if they don't happen, I'd like to either work from home or become a dog groomer, and I'd love to one day be a mother.

At school, I do GCSE's. The subjects I have are: English, Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Art, Music, History, French, Religious Studies and Physical Education and I'm pretty much a B Grade student.

I decided to go with the name Laura's Corner' for the blog as it reminded me of a reading corner while giving me the sort of space to post whatever I liked, without having to feel restricted to just books. I seem to constantly update the look of this blog, as I always find little things that I feel could be improved. I always like the way it looks, but always change it to suit my ever-changing tastes. I enjoy posting a variety of different things. I did once blog in the past, but I never really thought it was going anywhere and didn't have a particular thing to post about, so I stopped. Now here I am, years later. I'm glad I've joined the community of blogging once again. I feel like I have made quite a few new friends from it, and I hope to one day become a bigger blog and have more of a community discussion going on here. I've had quite a few people support me while I've been making this blog, and just through life in general.

I appreciate every follower I get on any social media, all the friends I've made and I am just grateful to be here in life. It may not always be brilliant, but there's always something positive to look forward to in the future. Thank you so much for reading this.

Have a wonderful day.
