And the new (current) url is http://laurascorner98.blogspot.co.uk

Hopefully all this bloglovin stuff will get sorted soon.

What I got updates

Hello everyone. So I decided against posting 'what I got' update things every month. Why? I just couldn't keep up with everything. I've decided to only post 'what I got' updates for my birthdays and Christmases. I'll find it easier and it'll mean that I can focus on making other posts much better.

Like right now, I'm currently deciding on what books to do reviews on. And I'm also thinking about what video games
I could post little things about, not strictly reviews but you get what I mean. It's hard for me to keep up with what I got every month, especially with getting pictures and stuff. Most of the time, I forget what I got in which month.

I'm sorry to any of those who enjoyed reading those posts.

Bye guys

Games wise I got New Super Mario Bros 2, Animal Crossing New Leaf, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time 3D and Luigis Mansion 2 for 3DS. I got Sims 3 Island paradise and Sims 3 University Life.

Books Wise I got a lot. I got the Maze Runner Trilogy, Matched, Anna Dressed in Blood, The Fault in Our Stars, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Specials, Extras and Whology.

I don't want to sound like I'm bragging, I'm just sharing my birthday with you all.
I am extremely greatful for everything I got today. I always love getting presents that I know will be used with love :)

Book Wrap Up- August 2013

August 2013 has been and gone and it is now September 2013.
This scares me slightly. The time has been going by waaaay too quickly, and I'm back to school tomorrow (YIKES!) and soon it'll be my birthday (WOOHOO!).
Anyway, this month I managed to read 7 books, which I think may be a record for me.
I'm also roughly half way through another book.

Let's get to what books I actually read.

- The Sontaran Games by Jacqueline Rayner

- Cross my heart & hope to spy by Ally Carter

- Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen

- Amy & Rogers epic detour by Morgan Matson

- Clay by David Almond

- Uncle Montague's tales of terror by Chris Priestley

- Uglies by Scott Westerfeld

And I am currently reading:

Pretties by Scott Westerfeld to carry on with the Uglies Series

See you guys soon,
Bye!

September already?

Aloha everyone!

Can you believe it's September already? This year has gone by so quickly.
It feels like only yesterday the summer holidays had just begun, and now I'm back to school next week.
In 10 days it'll be my 15th birthday.
On Wednesday I'll be starting year 10 at school.
And before you know it, it'll be Christmas, and then 2014.

With the time seeming like its going by so quickly, I've realised just how precious life is. Life is so short when you think about it, so we need to make the most of it while we can!

In all honesty, I've not been the best student, year 9 was probably my worst academic year, my end of year report wasn't too bad, but my test results and homework could have been a lot better. So I've decided that year 10 is going to be a better year. I'm going to try and do better at school. How? Well, I'm going to do more notes in class, do better homework and listen more. And when it comes to doing tests, I'll make sure I revise more. Revision has never been something I've done, so I think I'll start doing better. Year 10 is going to be a fresh start.

For any of you who are reading, I have a few questions.
- How are you going to try and make the most of life?
- Is there anything you want to try and improve on?
- What has been the highlight of your summer?

Bye guys! See ya soon!
