Review:
WOW WOW WOW! I loved this book so much it's unbelievable! Malorie Blackman seems to pick quite difficult topics to write about, and with this book, she's done it so well. You read it from the perspective of the main character, and you go on his journey with him & his family, and you occasionally get the little chapter from his younger brother. All the characters are written in well and the baby is just so adorable. You connect with the main character I this book. There are some moments when you think 'why did he just do that!?', but there are also some 'aaaw how cute' moments. So many emotions! The book also doesn't just revolve around this baby that has been brought to his house by his ex-girlfriend, it also focuses on how the family is and things that are going on with them too. There are some lovely happy moments and some very sad moments. But all in all, this book is beautiful and so beautifully written. I highly recommend this book and I honestly can't wait to read the 'Noughts and Crosses' series and many other stand alone books by the wonderful Malorie Blackman.
