Review:
This was such a beautiful book. Death is the narrator of this book, and he's actually quite witty, you know, for Death. So, you go on this journey with a girl called Liesel, who is living with a foster family. During the trip and her entire life, some horrible things happen. She really develops a relationship with her new Papa, Mama and her friends. The entire book is just so emotional!!!! I don't want to give anything away but oh Jesus, so many feels. Markus Zusak is just such a good writer. The whole book is so unique and well thought through. I got so excited reading this and it just has some really powerful lines in it that make you just think 'woah', this book was seriously so good, it's unbelievable. It's gotta be one of my all time favourite books now. I just love it so much and I am considering buying some more books by Markus Zusak. Maybe he'll become a favourite author of mine one day (he's already on his way there because of this book!!) . I cannot highly recommend this book enough, if you aren't sure if you want to read it, I say just go for it. It's a beautiful story.
